FMIDC blasted a double celebration last December 15, 2017 – the annual Christmas Party and its Silver Anniversary.
The big bash started with a mass officiated by Fr. Larry Tan. Then awarding of certificates recognizing the years of service of employees followed with an in-between raffle draws to heighten the event. The crowd was entertained by the series of surprise presentations by employees and the first family. A tribute was given to the CEO, Mr Francis Jimenez, for his 25 years of good hearted leadership and dedication. He delivered then his speech to express his gratitude. He requested everyone to hold on to their faith in God, for without it the success of the company wouldn't be possible.
Twenty-five years ago, FMIDC is “purely a trading company that sells anything under the sun”. It started selling wooden poles to MERALCO and plastic bins to private subdivisions /residential. Just like other humble beginnings, the company is proud of "learning from the grassroots ". In 1995, FMIDC saw an opportunity in the power distribution industry and started selling generator sets to PLDT and PILTEL. Being present to telecoms and utilities, a program to maintain the supplied units was developed. Hence the Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program was offered. This business continuity employed more than 200 people nationwide.
The company started with just 3 people and has since grown to 430!

In celebration of embarking to its silver jubilee in the business, FMIDC has unveiled a new corporate brand identity which includes the redesigning of a new logo and new look for its website. It has undergone a rapid growth since entrusted by challenging projects awarded by its new and loyal clients. As such, the update of brand identity is a must to keep pace to client’s demands and reflect the mark of new era for success.
